What TicketPOS does

TicketPOS powers ticketing flows for events and venues inside your Roblox experience. You use it to:
  • Sell tickets – one-time, recurring, or time-limited access.
  • Validate entry – control who can enter gates, doors, or regions.
  • Manage entitlements – grant or revoke access levels such as VIP or staff.
TicketPOS runs fully inside your Roblox game via the AG | TicketPOS folder.
You do not need to manage HTTP requests or API keys to use TicketPOS itself.

Core concepts

  • Event – a concert, session, or experience where tickets are required.
  • Ticket type – combinations of access and pricing (for example, General, VIP, Staff).
  • Entitlement – the actual access granted to a player for a specific event.
  • Gate – a check-in point such as a door, portal, or zone.

High-level architecture

At a high level:
  1. You install the AG | TicketPOS content into your Roblox place.
  2. UI or physical gates call the API object inside AG | TicketPOS.
  3. The TicketPOS scripts manage ticket records and entitlements.
  4. Your game listens for events fired by the API to allow or deny access.
If you later introduce Atlas for licenses, TicketPOS entitlements can complement those licenses, but TicketPOS core flows remain event-driven inside Roblox.
