What RestaurantPOS does

RestaurantPOS powers ordering and payment flows for restaurants and concessions inside your Roblox experience. You use it to:
  • Define locations – restaurants, bars, kiosks, and other points of sale.
  • Manage menus – items, categories, modifiers, and pricing.
  • Operate registers – in-world terminals or UI that staff or players use.
  • Track orders – from placement through preparation to completion.
RestaurantPOS runs fully inside your Roblox game via the AG | RestaurantPOS folder.
You do not need to manage HTTP requests or API keys to use RestaurantPOS itself.

Core concepts

  • Project – your Aware project that groups all RestaurantPOS and TicketPOS data.
  • Location – an individual restaurant or stand in your experience.
  • Register – a specific checkout surface (for example, “Front counter #1”).
  • Menu item – a purchasable item (for example, “Burger”, “Soda”).
  • Order – a single transaction created when a player checks out.

Typical architecture

At a high level:
  1. You install the AG | RestaurantPOS content into your Roblox place.
  2. UI in Roblox collects order details and calls the API object inside AG | RestaurantPOS.
  3. The RestaurantPOS scripts handle order state and persistence.
  4. Your game grants items or experiences based on events fired by the API.
If you also use Dynaban or Atlas, those use Aware HTTP APIs and EasyAPI, but RestaurantPOS itself is event-driven inside Roblox.
